STEWARDS REPORT – D Evans

ROCKHAMPTON OFFICES – WEDNESDAY 13 MAY 2009

Michael Halliday, adjudicating Steward, heard one inquiry in Rockhampton on Wednesday 13 May 2009.

Dale Evans pleaded guilty to a charge under AR175(q) in that he engaged in improper conduct by conspiring with Donna Carrigg to deceive Stewards and thereafter creating and supplying to Donna Carrigg an instrument containing his urine with a view to it being passed off to Stewards as urine supplied by Donna Carrigg.

Dale Evans was disqualified from holding or obtaining a jockeys licence for a period of 18 months.

Jockey Dale Evans pleaded not guilty to a further charge under AR175A and that matter has been adjourned to a date to be fixed.
