Indiere was as green as grass when unplaced on debut at Townsville last December but he has won two from two since resuming from a six month spell. He is by Biscay line stallion Rash Action and is a half-brother to Doomben winner Dirtiere (Special Effects). Their dam has a yearling colt by Kanoot.

Inspector Lee won this late-season juvenile event in a blanket finish for in-form sire Anglia. The Raheen Stud resident upgraded the winner’s dam – she was unplaced at her only start and has no black-type background. She foaled a Dodge filly last year.

King Arnold had been unplaced twice since winning at Atherton in May but he made amends with a half length victory in this Class 3. The winner is by a former Willowbend shuttler and is an older half-brother to Tasmanian winner Roses For Claire (Clang). Their dam is a half-sister to NZ G2 winners Sir Alberton (Red Tempo) and Alberton Star (Stylish Century). She has a yearling filly by Willowbend sire Rock of Cashel and returned to him last year.

Picawile had won a Toowoomba Class 1 in January before going for a five-month spell. He had been unplaced at all three runs this time in before gaining a head decision at Dalby. He is by former Eureka Stud shuttler Piccolo and is the last of six winners from Worthwhile who was an Adelaide juvenile winner back in the 1980s.

All Royal scored by three lengths when resuming from a four month spell. He had been placed twice at Rockhampton last summer and the trip away from the coast was the catalyst for this breakthrough. All Royal’s sire Royal Handout (Prince Echo) was a NZ bred stakes winner who died in March 2005. His dam was a hard knocker winning six races from 59 starts. She is from the family of Listed QTC Ascot Handicap winner Lord Diere (Grand Chaudiere). She was covered by Bagger Vance last year.

My Limit was a class above this field, however, he started at $14 due to doubts about his ability to drop back from 2400m to a mile. The winner is by Show a Heart who has covered Wabble for the last six years. Owner-breeder Ross Cutts also raced Glenlogan Park’s champion sire.

Supreme Ascot rarely runs a bad race although she’s won just four of 32 starts. She claimed a Class 2 at Tambo in June and improved her strike-rate with a narrow victory last weekend. Supreme Ascot is by Hazelwood sire Dane Supreme and is a half-sister to seven-time winner Regal Ascot (Forever Regal). The dam was served by Easy Rocking in January.

Jester Rumble had finished right behind the placegetters at her previous four starts but the Rory’s Jester filly was poised to strike here and completed the job in good style. Her dam Gentle Thunder is a winning half-sister to the Mister C winners Lucyrowe (Melbourne) and Shoeshine Henry (Sydney). The latter was also placed in the Group 1 VATC Caulfield Guineas and Group 2 STC Silver Slipper.
Jester Rumble has a weanling half-sister by Sequalo and was served by Red Dazzler last year.

Rock My Roof took seven outings to win this maiden but he did start a $3 second favourite after a being beaten a half length at Doomben last month. He is by Lyndhurst sire Hayil and his dam was pensioned after producing a Hayil filly last September. Astral hails from the family of 1970s Sydney stakes winners I’m Scarlet and Tumberlua who were both by Bluescope, a North American stallion brought to Australian by Dawson Stud owner Ferd Calvin.
